Celebrating Team Green Britain

You’ve seen the ads, now get involved. Starting an EcoTeam is one way you can help the UK go greener.

EcoTeams is partnering with Team Green Britain for a second year, to give people it inspires tools to act. Last year, more than 30,000 people signed up to EcoTeams from Team Green Britain.

To celebrate Green Britain Day, we visited Danielle and Gary Linekar’s home, and talked with them about steps they could take to reduce their environmental impact. As a result, they’re now growing their own veg and have started a wormery – that’s a silver EcoTeams action! Danielle’s even shopping vintage for her star-studded events.

Launching Team Green Britain

The Team Green Britain launch overlooking the new Olympics stadium saw Global Action Plan CEO Trewin Restorick interview Danielle Linekar about the steps she’s taking. Team Green Britain is channelling some of that Olympic spirit to inspire people to reduce their carbon footprints and help win the race against climate change.

EcoTeam-Up days

Starting in September, we’re holding Eco-Team Up days across the country for people who want to get together and start making changes. You can sign up for one through Team Green Britain. Can't wait that long? Go ahead and Get started with EcoTeams.
